Supported formats & limits
Check the input, output and device requirements before starting a larger job.
Video audio removal
Input: MP4, MOV and WebM containers. Output keeps the corresponding container and copies supported video streams without audio. The actual codec/container combination matters; unsupported combinations fail with a message. Browser preview support is separate from processing support. Check the exported file before sharing.
Audio splitting
Input: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC and OGG with a codec supported by the bundled FFmpeg engine. Output: MP3 at 192 kbps or 16-bit PCM WAV. DRM-protected and damaged files are not supported. Splitting is by time, not by instrument or speaker.
First-release resource limits
Up to 100 MB input, 60 minutes of audio, and 50 output segments. WAV exports are limited to an estimated 150 MB total. The browser also needs working memory for the source, engine and results. These are product limits, not guarantees that every phone can process every file within them.
Browsers and saving
Use a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with WebAssembly and Web Workers. Keep the page open and visible. Preview depends on browser codecs. If file sharing is unavailable, download instead. Mobile background execution and memory are controlled by the operating system.
Quality and metadata
Video audio removal does not re-encode the video stream, but container metadata can change. MP3 splitting re-encodes audio. WAV does not restore detail lost in a compressed source. Small encoded-duration differences are possible.
